Food and wine tours

Lake Garda with its typical products is the ideal area for food and wine tours to discover unique and authentic flavours.

Valpolicella – Lazise is very close to the Valpolicella area, a hilly area east of the lake, known for the sweetness of the area dotted with vineyards which produce the most famous wines of Lake Garda.

The Valpolicella food and wine tours include guided tastings of local wines, lunches in farm-based restaurants with traditional home cooking, and trips to the most picturesque villages in the area.

Soave – One-day tour in the Soave area to experience the beauty of a natural and undeveloped area with signs of the long-standing tradition of viticulture and winemaking. In addition to visiting renowned and prestigious wineries such as Soave, Valpolicella and Amarone, the tour includes a visit to olive oil mills with tastings.

The Soave tour is also available with electric minicars for two passengers, along a route among vineyards, churches, and castles, in full harmony with the environment.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil – The cultivation of olives on Lake Garda has a long tradition and the area produces oil with a delicate and balanced flavour. It is an excellent compliment to enhance the fish from the lake, as well as traditional dishes of the area based on meat and polenta.
The olive oil museum is located in Lazise, near the campground, where visitors can see an ancient and powerful lever press, stone grinders, screw presses, and the reconstruction of a 19th century watermill in an exhibition enriched by historical documents and educational material.
The museum also has a shop where visitors can sample and buy different kinds of extra virgin olive typical of Lake Garda.
