Lazise is located on the east shore of Lake Garda, south of Bardolino and north of Castelnuovo del Garda. The city is located 24 km west of the city of Verona, at the foot of the Morainic Hills. Here the lake reaches its maximum width with 17 km from coast to coast. Lazise, from the Latin "laceses" - city on the lake - is a town of medieval origin that offers a characteristic historical center with narrow alleys, picturesque squares and a port in the center easily accessible by boats and tourist boats.
