What are the reception opening hours?
In high season the reception is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., in low season from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Is it possible to check-in after the reception closing time?
Yes, even if the reception is closed, there is a night watchman at night who can take you to your accommodation. In case of any delays, please always contact the reception.

Is it possible to enter and leave the campsite during the night?
The gates are closed from 12:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.; however, the access is allowed on foot (with the camping pass). It is possible to park the car in the parking lot located before the gate.

What are the cash desk opening hours?
The cash desk is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What payment methods are accepted?
It is possible to pay in cash, debit card, credit card (Mastercard or Visa), EC-Maestro except American Express. In addition, checks are not accepted.

What time should I leave the campsite?
Living accommodations within 9:00 a.m.
Pitches within 12:00 p.m.

At what time can we arrive?
The guaranteed times when you can access the facility are:
Pitches from 12:00 p.m.
Living accommodations from 3:00 p.m.

Is it possible to leave in the afternoon without additional costs?
For all guests staying on the pitch, the check-out is within 12.00 p.m., after this time the cost of one night/day is charged.
For guests in a living accommodation it is possible to leave the car in the available parking spots and spend the whole day in the facility (with no additional costs).

Is there a minimum number of nights to book?
Yes, the minimum stay varies according to the type of pitch/living accommodation.

Minimum stay pitch:

  • Standard Pitch: 7 nights
  • Top Pitch: 14 nights/7 nights (in low season)
  • Top Lago Pitch: 14 nights


Minimum stay living accommodation:

  • Mobile home: 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday (high season); 3 nights (low season)
  • Coco tent: 4 nights (high season); 2 nights (low season)

    Is it possible to book a specific number of pitch/living accommodation or two nearby pitches/living accommodations?
    We do not book specific numbers or areas (you can report your preference, we will try to satisfy you if possible but we cannot guarantee anything).

What does the price of the pitch include?


Standard pitch:

  • a car + caravan or car + tent or camper
  • electricity 6 AMP
  • services: camper service (for loading and unloading water), wifi, animation activities (when present), access to swimming pools and sports fields.

Top and Top Lake Pitch:

  • a car + caravan or car + tent or camper
  • electricity 10 AMP
  •  loading and unloading of water directly on the pitch
  • services (* see Standard Pitch)


How many Ampere can be available?
Each crew occupying a Standard Pitch has the right to a 6 Ampere power socket, while those occupying a Top or Top Lago Pitch have a 10 Ampere power socket. It is not possible to add Ampere by paying an additional charge.

How big are the pitches?
All the pitches have a dimension between 80 and 100 m², are shady and demarcated, suitable for campers, caravans and large tents.

Is there air conditioning/heating in the living accommodations?
Yes, the living accommodations have a split air conditioning system with heating and cooling system.

What is included in the price for a stay in a mobile home?
It includes: VAT, final cleaning for stays from 4 nights, consumption, dishes, parking spot for one car, wifi, use of the swimming pools, animation (when present), playground, sports fields.

Are there sheets and towels?
Sheets and towels are not provided. It is possible to rent sheets at the reception.

What services does the campsite offer?
The campsite offers food services, bars, market, beach, swimming pool, playground, animation, sports facilities (football, volleyball, tennis, table tennis). Info point for events, such as guided tours, boat/boat rides and amusement parks and much more.

Is it possible to rent bicycles?
Yes, it is possible to rent them at the info point (only in the period in which it is open).
In low season it is possible to contact an external rental company.

Are showers upon payment?
No. The hot/cold showers inside the campsite are free, there is no need to insert a token. Common sense in use is highly required.

Do you have an Internet connection? Upon payment?
The wi-fi is free and available on the whole campsite.

Is there separate collection?
It is mandatory. The campsite has a waste separation area. Is laundry service available? Yes, in each of the campsite's toilet buildings there is an area with washing machines and dryers. Is there an ATM on the campsite? Yes. It is possible to find an ATM inside the reception.

Should I wear a swimming cap?
No.

What are the swimming pool opening hours?
The pool hours vary according to the season: in low season (from April to mid-May) the pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; in mid season (mid May, June, end of September) from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; in high season (Whit, july, august) from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, the management reserves the right to vary these times according to weather, number of the guests and other factors.

Is the swimming pool heated?
No.

In which period is the animation present?
The animation is present from late May to mid-September

In what language is the animation carried out?
Camping Fossalta relies on an international team with knowledge of at least 2 languages in addition to the mother tongue.

Are the animation activities free?
Yes.

Are there any restaurants inside the campsite?
Yes, there is a restaurant/pizzeria, a bar and a market.

What are the opening hours?
The market is open every day in the high season from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The restaurant opens at 7:30 a.m., the closing time may vary depending on the number of the present guests, but generally never before 10:00 p.m.

Is it possible to do half board and full board at your restaurant?
At the moment the campsite does not offer these services.

Can I rent a fridge on the campsite?
It is possible to rent a fridge with an external company

What type of plug does it take to connect to the electricity column? How far is the plug from the pitch?
Only and exclusively the European EEC model. The plugsare often near the pitches, a 20 m cable is recommended in order to be sure.

Is it possible to buy or rent adapters for the blue sockets (EEC standard) in order to connect to the electric column?
It is not possible to rent them. They can be bought at the market located inside the campsite.

Can unaccompanied minors stay?
No, all minors must be accompanied by an adult

Are dogs allowed? Can they go everywhere?
Fossalta is pet friendly, dogs can access almost everywhere with the only exception of the swimming pool and the living accommodations area. Dogs are allowed to enter the beach by going 200 meters from the entrance of the campsite.

Can you use a barbecue inside the campsite?
The use of a barbecue is allowed in compliance with neighbours and fire safety standards; the staff can turn off the barbecue if they deem it dangerous.
For safety reasons it is forbidden to light open flame fires anywhere on the campsite.
