Sustainability

For years, Camping Fossalta has paid particular attention to its environmental impact. By implementing sustainability awareness mechanisms, it is working to educate both staff and guests on the importance of a sustainable holiday.

What we actually do:

• Water Management. We have installed a Water House in the central area of ​​our campsite. Upon check-in, guests are given a voucher explaining our Plastic Free project: we inform guests that plastic bottles are not sold in our market. Additionally, we provide a voucher for 5 liters of free water (still or sparkling) to be collected at the Water House. Any subsequent withdrawals beyond those included in the voucher will incur a minimal charge. Furthermore, the entire campsite is equipped with water-saving systems, thus contributing to environmental respect and sustainability.
• Electricity: Our campsite is equipped with a fully energy-efficient lighting system and a photovoltaic panel system for generating electricity. Furthermore, the energy purchased to cover the remaining needs comes exclusively from certified renewable sources.
• Green Mobility: For maintenance and internal transportation, we use exclusively electric caddies. Furthermore, to promote sustainable mobility, we offer city bikes and e-bikes for rent directly at our reception.
• Charging station: 2 charging stations for electric cars are available to guests.
• Cleaning: The products used to clean the common areas and cabins at the campsite are mostly eco-friendly and certified. Furthermore, all toilet paper in the bathrooms is made from sustainable materials, in line with our commitment to the environment.
